The Mission: Break Expectations

My name is Tom. I’m autistic. For a long time, I lived as a "Bot." I was robotic, suppressed, and performing a character just to fit into the world. I was addicted to masking because I thought that’s what I had to do to be allowed to exist. In that life, my autism only ever came up when things went wrong. It was always an explanation for a mistake. It was always a reason to say, "I'm sorry."

I am done with the apologies. I am here to Break Expectations.

I started FROMBOT2HOT to change the context of what it means to be neurodivergent. When I wear the word "Autistic" on my chest in the gym or on the street, I’m not asking for permission and I’m not making an excuse. I am providing the context for my success before I even start the set. I want you to see me hitting PRs, building this brand, and evolving as a human—not despite being autistic, but while being autistic.
